Closer Look at the Cities

Alzalea City: Home of Father Benson, a metahuman priest who oversees a program of rehabilitation for misguided metahumans. Benson is former villain Kalki-Lord of Time.

Del Oeste: Formerly San Diego, which was destroyed in the Invasion. Apollo was one of its heroes pre-Invasion. Rebuilt city by large corporations (ex. Futura, KomCorp) who now headquarters there. Home of Paradigm, Dream Girl, Tag and Apollo (retired).

Dumont Village: A literal ghost town outside of New Orleans, home of the Dumont clan.

El Dorado: The notable "bay area" of northern California. Known as the "City of Tomorrow". Home of the Black Avenger. Sports teams include the Aztecs and the Caveliers (Football), Goliaths and Cougars (baseball), Golden City Knight's and San Juan Mantacores (basketball).

Helvitia: Home of the mysterious Wraith (Jack Hughes) and the ominous Abyss, Inc.

Oasis City: Gambling capital of the US. Home of the hero Arkenstone.

Queen City: decaying city on the banks of Lake Erie near the thundering Rainbow Falls. Second largest city in New York state.

Ravenscliff: A mysterious place in the New England countryside. Home of the Silvermage, Blackshade and Ravenwolf. Trucker "Breezy" Anderson and his dog Shaman call it home.

Silverado City: The East Coasts mecca of gambling. Casinos include the Abracadabra, Barabrossa, the Circus Maximus, the Delmonico and the Royal. The Syndicate runs the major criminal activities and employs the Wild Cards. This city is also the home of Roulette.

Speedway City: Home of John Atlas, PI. Site of the Speedway 600 annual auto race.

St. Jude: City borders US and Canada on Lake Superior in Michigan. Points of interest: Infantino Point, Quarter Moon Bay, Thunder Cove, Church of St. Jude, Marble Falls (wealthy estates). Heroes: Silver Sentinel, Mr. E, Golden Girl and Vervagirl (retired). Villains: Demonia, Guerriere, Hexagon.

Tradewinds: Home of heroes like the Harlequin, Sunbird and Zephyr.

Victoria: Nicknamed the Big Peach. The residentail community of Ashebury, just north of Victoria, is the home of Lodestone. Former protectors include Magnet and Steel.
